There are two main types of AI:

- General or Strong AI: This hypothetical form of AI would possess the ability to understand, learn, and apply knowledge across a wide range of tasks at a human level. Strong AI is still largely theoretical and does not yet exist.
AI can be categorized further based on its functionalities, including:
- Machine Learning (ML): A subset of AI that focuses on enabling machines to learn from data. It includes various algorithms and statistical models that allow systems to improve their performance on a specific task over time.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP): Involves the interaction between computers and humans using natural language. NLP enables machines to understand, interpret, and generate human language.
- Computer Vision: Involves giving machines the ability to interpret and understand visual information from the world, such as images and videos.
- Robotics: Integrates AI to control and guide the actions of robots, enabling them to perform tasks in the physical world.
AI applications are widespread and can be found in various industries, including healthcare, finance, education, transportation, and more. The field of AI continues to advance rapidly, with ongoing research and development contributing to its evolution and integration into diverse aspects of our daily lives.
